Haven of Hope Ministries Statement of Faith
GOD: We believe there is one God and He is the God of the Bible.
JESUS: We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus died for the sins of the world. Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to heaven. He sits on the right hand of the Father.
HOLY SPIRIT: We believe that the Holy Spirit glorifies Christ. The Holy Spirit indwells, empowers, leads, and counsels the believer to live holy.
BIBLE: We believe the Bible is the infallible, word of God. The Word of God must be obeyed.
SALVATION: We believe the only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ.
CHURCH: We believe the Church is composed of a group of believers. It is the Bride of Christ. Jesus Christ is the head of the Church.
Core Values
The Bible: The Bible is the infallible word of God. The Bible is integral to every aspect of life.
Spiritual Growth: Helping students to grow in their relationship with Christ.
Prayer: Using prayer for everything. ALWAYS PRAYING.
Supportive Relationship: To foster an environment of support or others.
Compassion for the poor: To recognize the needs of those that are less fortunate.
Community Service: To be actively involved in the Church and home community.
Excellence: Everything must be done with excellence. We cannot settle for less.
Cultivation of Potential: To develop students’ spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical potential.
Family/Generation: Enhancement of the family.
Living a life according to God’s Word.
